My wpi related work

What is it ?

Wpi is a driver for the intel3945abg wireless card. Most of the job was done by Damien Bergamini for OpenBSD. It was ported on NetBSD by a friend, Jean-Baptiste Campesato.

What I have already done

• Sync the driver with the latest release of the OpenBSD driver
• Add some workaround to solve the "frozen network" bug
• Solve issues with scanning
• Add support for WPA

  In fact, the main problem of WPA was scanning issues. Solving the first gives WPA for free

Futur works

• Better support for rfkill on/off status. Some patch are already available but they are not perfect. You can find the last one here
• Add support for WEP/WPA hardware support
